Richard Marquis
President
President
Richard Marquis has nearly 20 year of experience acquiring,
managing, leasing, and disposing of commercial real estate
throughout the United States. His strong problem solving,
analytical, and communication skills have served him well in this
regard. During the 1990's, Mr. Marquis gained considerable
workout and repositioning experience in the OREO Asset
Management Department of Citicorp Real Estate. At Citicorp, Rick
worked with multiple product types, including office, retail,
industrial, and multifamily. His most notable project was Two
California Plaza, a 1.3 million square foot high-rise office tower,
located in Downtown Los Angeles, California.
After leaving Citicorp, but prior to founding RMC Advisors, Rick
worked for institutional and entrepreneurial enterprises in asset
management roles and as head of in-house property management
departments. One of his most noteworthy assignments during this
time was the managing and leasing of the Burbank Town Center,
a 1.2 million square foot regional mall, located in Burbank,
California.
Rick earned his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of
Business and his BS cum laude in Business Administration from
California State University, Northridge. Mr. Marquis is also a Real
Estate Broker and a Certified Public Accountant in the State of
California.
Rick has affiliations with the following organizations:
